Since 1958, when Mustafa Toros opened his first business inside the walled city of Nicosia, our family has been part of the commercial life of North Cyprus.
From a knitwear factory and a finance house to appliance showrooms, home stores and a property portfolio, the group has grown one investment at a time.
Today each of our companies is run by its own team, and every one of them is held for the long term.

Our founder
He started in the walled city of Nicosia in 1958. Every business in the group today grew from the investments he made there.
Over six decades he built a knitwear and underwear factory, M. Toros Finans Ltd., the Toros Electricals appliance business and Toros Center, and invested in commercial and residential property across North Nicosia.
The group is still a family business. Fikri Toros, one of its shareholders, led the institutionalisation of the family companies and served as President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce from 2014 to 2017.

From 1 January 1971 the Toros factory in Nicosia sells to visitors at wholesale prices, taking made-to-measure orders in every design and colour.
The family adds a finance company to the group, supporting customers and local business.
M. Toros Ticaret Ltd. launches Toros Electricals to sell durable electrical home appliances.
The Toros Center building opens on Mehmet Akif Caddesi, bringing home stores and commercial space to the group.
